Main Body of Terminal in Sinopec Tianjin LNG Project Phase II Completed

Recently,  the reporter learned from CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company LTD. that installation of the steel bridge of the expansion project (Phase II) of Sinopec’s Tianjin Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project generally contracted by CCCC Second Navigation Institute and implemented by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Company LTD. was successfully completed, and the main body of the terminal was completed.

It is claimed that the terminal project is located in Nangang Industrial Zone. It is mainly composed of 1 working platform, 2 compensation platforms, 4 mooring piers, 6 mooring piers, 2 piers and steel bridges. The platform is connected with the land revetment and wave wall of receiving station through Approach Bridge.

With the completion of the terminal in Expansion Project (Phase II) of Sinopec Tianjin LNG Project, the terminal’s annual unloading capacity will reach 10.8 million tons in the future, which will further alleviate the current pressure on natural gas supply in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong. It will provide strong support and solid guarantee for winning the “Defense for Blue Sky” campaign and building a national clean energy project.
